Being confident

For some of us, getting older can mean that our confidence takes a bit of a knock. Perhaps we've retired from work and are missing it. Perhaps our health is not what it was. Maybe we're just feeling a little bit invisible. In Age & Opportunity, we believe that participation is a key part to regaining that confidence. Sometimes, however, that lack of confidence is what stands in the way of participation. That is where our Ageing with Confidence programme comes in.

Ageing with Confidence was established in 2001 as a community education programme. The programme was developed through a partnership between Northside Counselling Service (NCS), the HSE, Community Care Area 8 and Age & Opportunity.
