Physical Activity and Sport
All adults – including older adults – need at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity five days a week. Go for Life is the national programme for sport and physical activity for older people in Ireland and we have lots of ways to help you to be more active.
Go for Life is an Age & Opportunity initiative, funded by the Irish Sports Council. It runs in partnership with the Local Sports Partnerships and the Health Service Executive Health Promotion Units.
