We are greatly saddened to hear of the death of Mamo McDonald who was one of our founder members, the first Chair of Age & Opportunity, and subsequently became our Honorary President when she stepped down as Chair. She was also a great friend to all the staff in Age & Opportunity.
Mamo was a lifelong campaigner for women’s rights and the rights of older people, and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with her family.
