Age & Opportunity is seeking tenders from suitably qualified individuals or organisations to provide evaluation services for the Arts & Creative Charter for Older People Pilot project as part of our Arts Programme 2022/2023.
Since 2019, Age & Opportunity Arts has been developing a national Arts & Creative Charter for Older People with a wide range of stakeholders, which will pilot with seven arts organisations around Ireland in 2022 before a full launch in 2023.
The Arts & Creative Charter for Older People aims to enhance the experiences and increase the confidence of older people in their engagement with the arts in Ireland. The Charter also aims to support arts organisations to work with older people and to communicate the value of older arts participants, artists, and workers more generally. Further information on the Charter is available here: https://ageandopportunity.ie/arts/arts-creative-charter-for-older-people/
The pilot aims to test the practicality and efficacy of implementing the Arts & Creative Charter for Older People in arts venues and the response from the older public who engage with it. It would also aim to identify any challenges that exist in relation to its implementation, and to make recommendations on implementation processes for review.
The Charter Pilot launched in November 2022 and will be completed in November 2023. The evaluation must be completed by January 2024.
Interested parties should submit a proposal by email to Eva Griffin, Arts Programme Assistant Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org by 5pm Friday January 20th 2023
