We are currently recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher (seconded to the HSE)
This post is a collaborative venture between Age & Opportunity and the Health Service Executive (Dublin North City and County, Community Health Organisation). The purpose of this post is to support the HSE in collaborative research projects with a number of universities though the main focus will be the REACH collaboration with Dublin City University. Please see https://www.dcu.ie/science-and-health/research-and-engagement-across-community-health. Additional research projects with Trinity College Dublin may also come within the remit of this post.
Applicants must have completed a PhD in a relevant area of health sciences, population health, health services research or appropriate equivalent, and must be competent with data analysis, collection, and interpretation, including relevant statistical packages and an ability to write scientific papers and reports. Applications will be considered from applicants who have recently completed a successful PhD Viva. Applicants must have permission to work in Ireland.
This position is a one-year specific purpose contract, and is full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Flexi-time working arrangements apply, and the position will be based predominantly on-site in HSE offices in CHO 9 (Dublin North City and County), with some hybrid working depending on the requirements of the role.
Salary €45,322 per annum.
