We recently said goodbye to our wonderful colleague Ciaran McKinney.
Ciaran retired at the end of September, having spent over 16 years with Age & Opportunity, working across the organisation as our spokesperson and in our Engage Programme team.
Ciaran has had a significant impact on the lives of older people during this time, and his creativity and ability to spark new ideas and develop very unique and progressive initiatives will really be missed. Ciaran’s engaging personality and sense of humour ensured that he had a great way of bringing groups together and facilitating a safe space for important topics to be discussed.
Ciaran has been a very kind a caring colleague over the years, and he leaves behind a great legacy in Age & Opportunity and the wider ageing sector.
We are so grateful for everything that Ciaran has done for Age & Opportunity, and we will really miss working alongside him. We wish Ciaran the health and happiness in his retirement.
